Taking a Drunk Mans’ Cash at a NL Texas Holdem Poker Table
I’m sure just about anyone who has wagered hold em poker inside a place where they provide alcohol consumption has had this encounter at one time or one more. Everyone at the table was genuinely pleasant except for Mr. I’m all in mainly because I’m drunk. He had such a bad frame of mind and I felt like I was online betting in a freeroll for a moment due to the fact he would just maintain going all in. He would occasionally just call a bet. Each and every time he would just call, I knew he had a nasty hand.
So, when it was my turn to call, I would raise with my great pocket pairs or my ace some thing. Each time he remained in the hand all the way to the river and then try to bluff. It was nearly as if he needed to share his chips.
I bet at that particular table for at least 3 hours and I counted a minimum of 4 times the man went to the Automatic Teller Machine and returned with at least $200 in chips. I would say I probably got a minimum of half of what he delivered to the table.
The following day, following I got house and added up my winnings, I kind of felt poor for winning all that money. But then again, that man shouldn’t have been wagering texas holdem poker though he was intoxicated!
Several men and women may say that if I have to question my actions, then sure, it most likely wasn’t the correct point to do. Except, do I feel terrible about it, not truly.
My viewpoint on taking a drunken person’s money at the poker table is that if they’re idiotic enough to bet on though intoxicated and is being careless, then have at it!
